Mera Peak (6,476m) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and one of the best choices for climbers seeking a true Himalayan climbing experience without highly technical sections. Located in the remote Hinku Valley of the Everest region, this adventure combines scenic trekking, cultural experience, and high-altitude mountaineering.

The climb offers breathtaking panoramic views of five of the world’s highest mountains: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga. The route passes through beautiful forests, traditional Sherpa villages, alpine valleys, and glacier terrain before reaching the summit.

Mera Peak is ideal for trekkers and climbers with good physical fitness who want to experience a high Himalayan summit in Nepal.

Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 2- Fly to Lukla and Trek to Paiya
Begin trekking through beautiful forest trails and villages. Walking Hours: 5–6 hrs
Day 3- Trek to Panggom
Trek through rhododendron forests and traditional settlements. Walking Hours: 5–6 hrs
Day 4- Trek to Ningsow
Gradual ascent through remote mountain trails. Walking Hours: 5–6 hrs
Day 5- Trek to Chhatra Khola
Descend and cross rivers with mountain scenery. Walking Hours: 6–7 hrs
Day 6- Trek to Kothe
Enter the beautiful Hinku Valley region. Walking Hours: 5–6 hrs
Day 7 – Trek to Thangnak
Gradual ascent toward higher altitude terrain. Walking Hours: 4–5 hrs
Day 8 – Acclimatization Day
Rest and short acclimatization hike.
Day 9 – Trek to Khare
Preparation for climbing period. Walking Hours: 4–5 hrs
Day 10 – Climbing Training Day
Basic mountaineering and glacier training with climbing guide.
Day 11 – Trek to Mera High Camp
Move to high camp for summit preparation. Walking Hours: 5–6 hrs
Day 12 – Summit Mera Peak and Return to Khare
Early morning summit attempt and descent. Walking Hours: 8–10 hrs
Day 13–17 – Return Trek to Lukla
Descend through the same trekking route back to Lukla.
Day 18 – Fly back to Kathmandu
Return flight to Kathmandu.
