Trip Overview
Island Peak (6,189m) is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking peaks and is considered an excellent introduction to Himalayan mountaineering. Located in the Everest region, the climb combines trekking through the Khumbu Valley with basic alpine climbing experience.
The journey follows the classic Everest trail through Sherpa villages and high-altitude landscapes before reaching Island Peak Base Camp. Climbers receive basic mountaineering training before the summit attempt, including rope techniques and glacier travel.
This adventure is ideal for trekkers and climbers seeking their first Himalayan summit experience.
