Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, meet your climbing guide for a detailed trip briefing covering the trekking route, climbing plan, safety procedures, and equipment check. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and make any last-minute preparations before your Himalayan adventure begins.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
Enjoy a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Meet your trekking crew and begin your journey through beautiful Sherpa villages, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. The trail is gentle and ideal for gradually adapting to the increasing altitude. Overnight at a comfortable teahouse in Phakding.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Today’s trek follows the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests and crosses several iconic suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steadily to Namche Bazaar. On clear days, you’ll catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest before arriving at the bustling Sherpa trading town.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
Proper acclimatization is essential for a safe climb. Today, hike to the Everest View Hotel or Khumjung Village for spectacular panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. After the hike, return to Namche Bazaar where you can visit museums, cafes, and local markets while allowing your body to adjust to the altitude.
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m)
Follow a scenic trail with magnificent mountain views before descending to the Imja Khola River and climbing to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan peaks including Ama Dablam, Everest, and Nuptse.
Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m)
Descend through rhododendron forests before crossing the Imja River and ascending toward Dingboche. The landscape gradually changes from green forests to alpine terrain surrounded by towering snow-covered mountains. Dingboche is an ideal location for further acclimatization.
Day 7: Acclimatization Hike at Dingboche
Today’s acclimatization hike takes you to Nangkartshang Peak or nearby viewpoints offering panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, Island Peak, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding Himalayan range. After returning to Dingboche, spend the afternoon resting and preparing for higher elevations.
Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m)
Continue through the alpine landscape to Dughla before climbing to the memorial site dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From here, the trail gradually ascends to Lobuche, surrounded by dramatic glaciers and towering Himalayan peaks.
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche East High Camp (5,400m) & Climbing Training
Reach Lobuche East High Camp where your experienced climbing guide will conduct a comprehensive climbing training session. Learn and practice the proper use of crampons, ice axe, climbing harness, ascenders, fixed ropes, safety techniques, and glacier travel skills. This training builds confidence and prepares you for summit day.
Day 10: Summit Lobuche East Peak (6,119m) & Descend to Pheriche (4,240m)
Wake before midnight and begin the summit push under the stars. Carefully climb over rocky terrain, snow slopes, and fixed ropes to reach the spectacular summit of Lobuche East Peak (6,119m). From the top, enjoy unforgettable panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and countless Himalayan giants. After celebrating your achievement and capturing photographs, descend safely back to High Camp before continuing down to Pheriche for a well-earned rest.
Day 11: Buffer Day for Weather or Climbing Contingency Starting Altitude: 4,240m
This reserve day provides flexibility in case poor weather, heavy snowfall, or other unforeseen conditions delay the summit attempt. If the summit is completed as scheduled, the day can be used for additional rest, exploration, or an early descent depending on your guide’s recommendation.
Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche, enjoying the warmer temperatures and lush forests as you return toward Namche Bazaar. Celebrate your successful climb with your trekking team while spending the evening in the vibrant Sherpa town.
Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Retrace your steps through forests, villages, and suspension bridges before arriving back in Lukla. Spend the evening celebrating the successful completion of your Himalayan adventure with your guides and porters.
Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Take an early morning scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax after your incredible mountain journey.
Day 15: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
This free day allows time for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, shopping, or simply relaxing before your international departure. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your expedition team to celebrate your successful Lobuche East Peak climb.
Day 16: Final Departure
After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Depart Nepal with unforgettable memories of the Everest region, Sherpa hospitality, and your successful ascent of Lobuche East Peak (6,119m).

Additional Info

Lobuche East Peak Climbing is considered a challenging adventure that requires good physical fitness and strong determination. While previous technical climbing experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory for climbers with excellent fitness and a willingness to learn.

Participants should be comfortable walking for 6–8 hours daily at high altitude, with summit day lasting up to 12 hours. Regular cardiovascular training, strength exercises, hiking, and endurance preparation before the trip are highly recommended.
